Top Honors at IF3 Europe
THE ACCOLADES KEEP COMING FOR “THE WAY I SEE IT”
The MSP family was informed over the weekend that we had won another Best Film Award from the International Freeski Film Festival. IF3 had their European festival over the better part of the past week in Annecy France. On Saturday night, “The Way I See It’ was shown to the capacity crowd, and at the end of the night, Best Film was awarded for our 2010 feature film. Athletes in attendance included Sean Pettit, Henrik Windstedt, Jacob Wester, Richard Permin and Phil Meier. Cinematographer Guillaume Tessier was also on hand to witness the energy that the Annecy crowd threw down.
Along with Best Film, MSP athlete Henrik Windstedt won the award for Best Freerider, and could not have been more stoked! After a long trip through the US, on the MSP Fall Movie Tour, Henrik was super happy to be back on his home turf in Europe. Winning the award was the cherry on top to a phenomenal 2009/2010 ski season.
A huge THANK YOU goes out to all those who helped put on both the Montreal and Annecy editions of IF3. They have truly become some of the most important film festivals for Freeskiing!
