ASPEN, Colorado (January 30th, 2010) - It is with great honor that MSP Films annoucnes that “IN DEEP, the skiing experience” has won Powder Magazine’s MOVIE OF THE YEAR award for 2010.  This past year has been one that the skiing world, along with the entire MSP family, will never forget.  We saw the rise of Sean Pettit’s dominance in the sport, and the tragic loss of skiing’s greatest innovator, Shane McConkey.

When asked how this award was different from the accolades that MSP has received in the past, Murray Wais (Owner and Executive Producer) said, “we are honored to be recognized at the 10th Annual Powder Magazine Awards.  For MSP, it is very humbling and we really could not be more proud to receive this honor.  We all work very hard to share our stoke for the sport of skiing, so to win our 6th Movie Of The Year title in ten years, it is incredibly gratifying.”

In other PVA news, MSP is thrilled that the praise keeps coming in for Sean Pettit, who took home the coveted 2010 MALE SKIER OF THE YEAR award along with the FULL THROTTLE award; this all following up on his 2009 rookie campaign which resulted in the prize of BEST BREAKTHROUGH PERFORMER.
