Only one left to go in the lower 48, and it happens to be in my hometown of Philadelphia. Though I have lived my entire adult life out west, my skiing history is deeply rooted on the East Coast. I have spent many weekends standing in lift lines, attempting to rail it on the hardest ice, eating my cafeteria food while sitting on the floor, and skiing bumps feeling like Wayne Wong until they turned off the lights. My story is not uncommon to most transplants to the west, but I do consider myself fortunate to have made the move, and it feels good to come home and share the love. Especially since the Phils missed the World Series and the Eagles are struggling!

The World Cafe Live is an intimate, but modern, live music venue that provides a sweet vibe for the film. The food is also quite good, so it was literally dinner and a movie for a lot of viewers. Subaru of America HQ is located just across the bridge in Cherry Hill, NJ, so they were in full effect. Our friends from Vermont were on hand, and kind enough to bring Travis Pastrana's Subaru Rally Car...no Travis, but his car is really cool. Subaru also threw in more swag than we knew what to do with!

The Philly crowd moved in quickly and signed up for the night's giveaways and stuff from Subaru. Cody Townsend made new friends (despite him being an SF Giants fan) and Jack Frost Big Boulder stoked out the people with 2 for 1 lift ticket vouchers. We took the stage and Cody and I took what felt like 15 minutes to unload the last of the East Coast swag. Helly Hansen, Smith and Disctete goods went off into the night and the last pair of Volkl Ledges were given away a long with a season pass to Jack Frost Big Boulder!

The intimate crowd brought the noise all night! Sean showed 'em once again that with right skills it's perfectly fine to ski with your face sometimes. They were stoked on all the cool lines that Hoji, Sean, Bushy and Heimer hit in Bralorne, though they were wondering how late can you get a cheese steak and a pretzel there. When Bobby Brown nailed his triple in AK, I don't think Philadelphia has heard louder cheers since the Sixers won the NBA championship in 1984. Cody and Henrik always get the love at the closing Girdwood, AK seggy...the people look at Cody and say, "That's him, that's the dude who just skied those unbelievably crazy mountains in the movie!"

It's been a long haul, and I can't believe the West Coast, Inter-Mountain region and East Coast are in the books. Stoked to bring the love to the home front! Thanks to Jack Frost Big Boulder for coming on board. Also thanks to Yaya and Red Bull for the sweet beats of Ultra Violet! Big, big thanks to Melissa T at Subaru of America, and Vermont Sports Cars for the killer set up outside - and the extra swag! Yeah, we've gotten a lot done, but not quite finished yet! Friday night at the Williamson Auditorium in Anchorage, and Saturday night to the place where a lot of things went down, Girdwood, AK. See you there!

A couple days of rest, and we're ready for NYC. A little bit of catching up with friends and family, eating tons of food, taking in some night life, and spending a little too much money...we were primed and ready for New York.

We're lucky to have built a strong following in New York that has continued to blossom, and despite the fact that temps have been in 80s, New Yorkers were ready for the temps to drop and the snow to fall. For 2010 we chose to return to the tightly run ship at the Merkin Concert Hall near Lincoln Center. One year ago, the Merkin had all you needed from comfortable seating to sweet acoustics...everything you need except for a selection of adult beverages. Happy to say that this year, they offered a fine selection of wines for all to enjoy, and if things continue to go our way, we may have wine and light beer or something next year!

Not sure at this point how many shows he has done, but Cody Townsend is an absolute stud and was stoked to meet the New York fans for the first time. In town for a well deserved appearance on MTV, Bobby Brown was in the house as well. Our new partners and friends from Mount Snow were on hand to hit New Yorkers with a ton of free lift tickets!

It was super fun taking the stage as New York was fired up last night! Cody and Bobby sent the free product, and the Helly Hansen, Smith and Discrete goods went out as well. Yet another pair of Volkl Ledges found a new owner, along with a $50 gift certificate from EVO!

At show time the crowd was eating it all up...Non stop hollas for Pettit, and probably the most laughter we heard on tour through the beginning of the Niseko Japan segment. Ingrid, who we missed dearly this year in NYC, got much heartfelt applause while ripping Tahoe with her brother Arne. Timy Dutton's brother Jake was on hand cheering through all 15 back flips he pulled off in Tahoe. Of course, Cody and Henrik never fail to please the crowd by crushing it in AK!

So stoked to have been back in New York! Thank you to everyone, and glad to help set off your winter! Thanks to the Merkin crew...looking forward to the addition of beer in the fall of 2011! Thanks to Duff of Red Bull for the product and bringing in the sweet beats of Yamez! Big props and thanks to Greg, Kayla and Micheala of Mount Snow for spreading the ski love in Manhattan.

Back to back to back to back is what it is - that's how we started things off on the East Coast. The pace has been fast and demanding, but the turn outs and feed back have been sweet so it's all good! Burlington, VT at the Higher Ground has always been an East Coast homecoming of sorts. A top notch venue and staff, and a super hyped and loyal crowd always awaits our arrival. Nothing but a good time at the Higher Ground!

Always a fun mixed crowd in Burlington...families and little up and comers, college students and skiers from the hills all come out to get the stoke. Vermont had actually got pretty good shellacking of the goods recently and reports of turns were already coming in!

DJ ZJ courtesy of Red Bull worked the ones and twos for a good groove in the room. Always eager for gear, the Vermont faithful hit the Enter to Win Bucket hard. Ingrid and Cody had reunions with old friends. Stowe Mountain Resort was on hand "Stoweking" everyone out with Stowe points cards, and it was heavy traffic at the Higher Ground bar.

After an action packed swag toss with Cody and Ingrid with lots of stuff from the Ski Rack, Helly Hansen, Smith and Discrete gear hit the street. Biggest winner of the night copped some Volkl Ledges and a season pass from Stowe!

Have I mentioned that people love Sean Pettit yet? Well they also dug on Hoji and Abma going on walk-abouts for turns, and the Swedes singing down the mountains in Tulsequah 'til they got worked. Ingrid has always been a hero here, so they were sad to see her snowmobile go up in flames. They were practically in tears when they saw she crunched her Subaru, since Subaru is the official state car of Vermont. Bobby, Russ and Gus in AK had 'em wondering what special effects company we hired up there. At Henrik and Cody's segment, bar sales slowed because folks were saving their duckets to go heli skiing.

Except for the Phillies failing to make the World Series, Saturday night in Vermont was sweet! Thanks Higher Ground for yet another great night. Thank you Nicole and Dave of Red Bull for bringing in DJ ZJ, and an off the hook after party! Thank you Stowe Mountain Resort for "Stoweking" out your people! And big thanks to our long time friends at the Ski Rack...a world class act, and we wouldn't do this with anyone else!

Couple of days off will be sweet, but the tour rolls on! NYC on the 28th @ the Merkin Concert Hall...tickets still available but going fast, so come on down! Can't believe it, but we wrap up the East Coast on Friday at the World Cafe Live Upstairs in hometown of Philadelphia! I better see you there!

Portsmouth, NH to Boston to Portland, ME...a virtual whirlwind of getting very familiar with Interstate 95 and paying tolls. With two strong showings in Portsmouth and Boston, it was time for a historic first show by MSP in Portland, ME. Yes it's historic because again, what is not historic in New England? And it was our first time producing and hosting a show in Maine!

After years of people telling us we should host in Portland, we finally upped the ante and here we are. I was a little nervous since it was our first time there, and to add to my own confusion, the city names of Portland and Portsmouth and the venue names of Port City Music Hall and the Music Hall make my mind run in circles...but that's my problem.

Though Portland is a cool New England city on Casco Bay skiing is not far away, and we quickly learned the skiers are as fired up as any on the planet. The Port City Music Hall is a relatively new venue, modeled after the famous Higher Ground of Burlington, VT.

Upon arrival for set up, we discovered the show had practically sold out, so it was on! Ian and Kevin were back at it on behalf of Saddleback, stoking everyone out in attendance with a free lift ticket. Adam from Al's Ski Barn/Untracked dot com set up shop and threw in some cool items for the giveaways and raffle. The Enter to Win Bucket was non stop action, and Cody and Ingrid made a ton of new friends and fans! Showtime...Ingrid and Cody shelled Portland with free stuff from Al's/Untracked. The Helly Hansen, Smith and Discrete gear was doled out, and this time the big winner was all set with a pair of Volkl Ledges, and a season pass to Saddleback!

The Rock and Roll vibe of Port City Music Hall enhanced the volume of crowd reaction, as Portland did not stop cheering and gasping at all they witnessed!

Could not have a better welcome to Portland, ME! Sorry to those who did not make it in, we'll get you in next year! Port City Music Hall rocks it..thanks to all y'all! All the love to Adam and the Al's/Untracked crew...coolest set up in all of Maine! Thanks to Joe and Stacy of Red Bull for the beats and after party! Saddleback...you are our new homies, and your love enthusiasm and support went off huge in New England! Thank you and you guys are welcome anytime!

Portsmouth was a blast, and I probably described something about it as historic, but what isn't historic in New England? Anyhow, it was on to Boston...the Brattle Theatre is truly historic because it was originally used as a Harvard lecture hall and has been operating as a movie venue since the 50's. They started serving beer at some point, and as they say, "the rest is history..."

2009 was our first year at the Brattle, and we sold out that show. That was cool, except for the people we had to turn away. Not wanting to ignore or repeat history, we decided to add another screening this year.

Good thing too, as both shows were packed to the gills with the Boston hard cores! Cody and Ingrid both developed carpel tunnel, and our new friends from Saddleback in Maine were having a good time and inviting some new friends to come check them out.

Swag flew and cool stuff was won, highlighted by a couple of pairs of Volkls and two season passes to Saddleback for the 2010/11 season!

Boston was not shy about their excitement and stoke for the upcoming winter. The cheers were at eleven for Sean's silkiness in the opener, Japan and Bralorne. All chuckles for Colby's 2010 season. Oohs and gasps for the Swedes in Tulsequah, and all of fans wanting to win that trip to AK after seeing what Henrik and Cody got done up there.

Great to see the Boston crowd growing year after year! Thank you guys! Thanks to Ned Hinkle and the Brattle Film foundation for your efforts! What you guys do is not easy, but very noble! Special thanks to the whole Saddleback Maine crew for hooking everyone up with lift tickets, and throwing two season passes into the mix! See you in Portland, ME.

We've been up and down the coast like we don't understand geography, and that's how we roll. Portland, ME on Friday, Burlington, VT on Saturday. Sorry about the Yanks, and my beloved Phillies...now y'all got no excuse to miss us in NYC on Oct. 28, and Philly Oct. 29! See you when I see you!

A little time off the road is a good thing. With the World Premiere, west coast and inter-mountain regions behind us, it was time to bring the beast to the east. The thing is, out west there are a lot of options as far as terrain and snow. Back east, where I grew up skiing, it's really all about determination, heart and soul. Glory days are few and far between on the east coast, as are trips out west. Yes.. different coast, different terrain and conditions..but the the passion, the love and the feeling...it's all the same.

We've been coming to the historically cool-ass, sea coast town of Portsmouth, NH as long as I remember, and despite this fact, we have hosted our film in just about every possible venue in the area. Pretty much out of pure luck, we finally secured a date at the "world famous, the calendar is always full at the time of year when I want to show our ski film" Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH. The Hall is the place to be for our type of gig...a super cool entry and bar, with another cool lobby an awesome screen and sick sound.

Cody Townsend continued his role as the mighty touring warrior, along with fellow Squaw resident Ingrid Backstrom who is a heavily decorated veteran of east coast movie tour duty. These two greeted some new fans. Cranmore Mountain Resort was getting busy doling out the free lift tickets and 2 for 1s. The bucket was rockin' with folks eager for a chance at the free goods.

At showtime, it was stoke time as Ingrid and Cody dropped the hammer on the goods, with a lot of stuff from Bob at Fire on the Mountain. Helly Hansen outer wear, Smith eyewear and Discrete fell into the right hands and the happiest cat of the evening probably wanted to go home and mount his new Volkl Ledges by free handing it with his own drill.

Yes, we could probably make an entire film of Sean Pettit dragging his face through pow mounds and jibbing trees, and Portsmouth agreed. New Hampshire native Colby West made the home state proud busting their guts with laughter. Ingrid's ripping of Tahoe with Arne emotionally inspired 'em, and her rent with an option to own experience with her snowmobile had them baffled, sympathetic and giggling. Henrik is the man, and Cody is everyone's hero in AK.

With our first year at the Music Hall a wrap, I can't think of anywhere else in the area to go, so look out for us next year! Thanks Therese La Gamma and Mike for having us. Thank you to Kerry at Cranmore Mountain Resort for getting on board and spreading the love in the home state! Same to Joe D and Stacy of Red Bull for the fun time at TJ's! And the biggest thanks of all to Bob Seiner and the entire posse at Fire on the Mountain...could not do any of this without your passion, support and friendship. You are forever the man!

For the record, MSP's "The Way I See It" is officially rated PG in the province of British Columbia, Canada. With official classification of this year's film, Vancouver Part Deux was on!

While originally scheduled for the Park Theatre, we were lucky enough to be rescheduled for the Ridge Theatre which is just as cool, comfortable and vintage as the Park. I hooked up our old friend and tattoo artist warrior Jeremy who helped me set the stage for the show.

Gotta love the energy and enthusiasm of the Canadian MSP fans! The UBC Ski and Board Club was on hand sporting their colors. We had some interesting guests...I couldn't really distinguish if they were heading to the hills, or coming off of them! I also couldn't tell if they were paying tribute to Saucerboy, or impersonating Canadian Civil Utility Workers who happened to have ski gear ready in case the opportunity to shred presented itself. EIther way, these fans were fired up!

As you can imagine, Sean Pettit is a Canadian hero, and the crowd ate him up witnessing his heroics take place not too far up the great white north. Canadian pride continued through the boys crushing Bralorne, Abma and Hoji earning turns at Meadow Lodge, and Kaj, Sverre, Richard and Phil going Richter and cheating disaster in Tuselquah. Colby cracked 'em up. Bobby and company had 'em saying "I quit," and Henrik and Cody had 'em counting down the days to ski season!

Special thanks to the Festival Cinemas crew for making Vancouver Part 2 happen! Thanks to Leo Gomez and the players of Helly Hansen on Granville...appreciate all the promo and hard work! Props to the UBC ski and board club as well, the funnest club north of the border! Thank you Jeremy for your help and schlepping me around! Great work and good times! Finally thanks to the Vancouver MSP fans for your understanding, love and loyalty!

The Way I See It, that's a wrap for the Inter Mountain MSP Movie Tour 2010!! Man, Pankey and I had a blast, we traveled from Boulder to Crested Butte to Durango to Vail to Keystone to Sun Valley to Boise to Missoula and ended it in Bozeman - what a great couple weeks of driving around and providing the winter stoke!!

We are on our way back home to Crested Butte now before heading out again to crush it on the East Coast - be sure to look us up in Portsmouth NH for the East Coast Premiere at the Music Hall on 10/20 - it is going to be a banger show!

We wanted to throw out a huge round of THANK YOUS to all the crews that helped us out on the road: Pine Needle Mountaineering, Podium Sports, Formula Sports, Helly Hansen Boise, Gull Ski Shop, Helly Hansen Bozeman, Crested Butte Mountain Resort, Silverton Mountain, Grand Targhee Resort, Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Big Sky Resort and James at SOS Outreach. Subaru was out in force at all the stops - THANK YOU to Subaru of America - you guys did a great job!!

The level of anticipation followed by the after show stoke was unbelievable - it seems that everyone is ready to shred some pow this winter!

Jackson was awesome and I felt like I was ready to high-ho-silver myself into the sunset, but then I remembered we had to get to Park City. So once again, sleep, drive, theater state of mind was the only way to go. Four and a half hours drive on this tour during normal business hours is a walk in the park, so all systems go and full steam ahead!

Park City is a community of over the top ski freaks where all areas of the spectrum are represented. Racers to big mountain rippers, park and pipe hitters to aerial dudes, two year-olds to one hundred and two year-olds, wool pants wearing classic nordic guys to gelande cats...they all seem to flock to the Jim Santy Auditorium for some good ole MSP family fun.

6pm...with doors about to open, George and the Park City Film Series crew were about to have their hands full. The faithful had been lined up, and the line never really dwindled until after showtime. It was non stop autographing for Cody T and Bobby B from the get go. The "Enter to Win" bucket was bangin', and our new friends at CLEAR Wireless were making some new acquaintances in the ski world.

The room was packed to the edges as Bobby and Cody chucked the free goods. New gear from Helly Hansen, Smith, DaKine and Discrete was won - along with some brand new skis from CoreUPT! We even gave away some baked goods along with free tunes from Cole Sport. Mark it down, this was the fIrst time MSP has ever given away cup cakes at a ski movie premiere!

The packed Park City house did not refrain from cheering all night long! As has been the case the entire tour, Sean Pettit's opening segment just brings the noise! If he dumped ice cubes on his face, I think he would generate applause. Tons of snow in Japan and insane lines of Bralorne kept 'em roaring. Colby West's antics floored 'em with humor. Bobby, Gus and Russ in AK made the auditorium sound like the Flyer's won the Stanley Cup, and everyone in the room was proud to know Cody Townsend after his Girdwood, AK big mountain clinic!

Thank You Park City for a sick party! Huge thanks to George and the entire Park City Film Series crew! You guys crushed it with promo and work it hard! Thanks to Ashon of Subaru for your support and being a huge MSP fan! Much love to our new friends at CLEAR Wireless - glad to have you on board!

Tomorrow Berman and I will be in SLC, UT at the Rail Event Center. Matti Brown got 'er done in Missoula tonight and closes the books on the inter-mountain region tomorrow in Bozeman. We'll catch you Canadians next Thursday for Vancouver, Part 2!

Sleep, drive, theater, repeat... In no particular order... That has been our routine lately. Berman and I have been logging the miles and hours as we found ourselves in Jackson WY Thursday morning. As much as I wanted to visit a national park and buy a ranch, there was no time for either as the show must go on.

I don't have to explain to anyone who knows a lick about Jackson that skiing is not a hobby or something to do when the snowmobiling and wild game hunting is less than ideal around these parts. Jackson is as dedicated, passionate and plain talented as any serious ski community in the world... Not to mention the home mountain and surrounding back country rivals any resort and zone on the planet. The point here is that Jackson appreciates the pure spirit of "living the dream" in the mountains, which is exactly why MSP was here - to help fuel that spirit.

But the night wasn't all about living in the mountains and skiing philosophical mumbo-jumbo. It's OCKTOBERFEST for crying out loud! Hoback Sports had pre-sold a bunch of tickets, and the stage was set for a full house last night! Even before the conclusion of the evening's quasi intellectual art house film at the Teton, the Jackson skiing fanatics were chomping at the bit to make their way inside. Our new friend from Grand Targhee Resort, Doug Gemmel, held a wad of 2 for 1 lift ticket vouchers for all in attendance, and when the doors opened, it was all love for Doug! Business was up a little at the "Enter to Win" bucket, since everyone knew Doug was kind enough to throw in a one day resort skiing, one day cat skiing and one night accommodation for 2 package at Grand Targhee Resort as a super prize for the evening!

On stage, I felt like I attempted 18 first downs and 18 hours of playing frisbee with a champion dog during the swag toss. Helly Hansen, DaKine, Discrete and Smith goods were won by the lucky, and the stars aligned for the most amped cat of the night, copping a pair of the all new Salomon El Dictators and the Grand Targhee super prize package!

We love you Jackson, please have the winter of your lives! Thank you Teton Motors for the Subaru support! Thanks also to Kurt and Hoback Sports for your promotional help and being such a class act! Much thanks to Doug and Grand Targhee Resort for flowing the 2 for 1s tonight in Jackson and in Boise! GTR is in the house for Missoula and Bozeman too! Thanks to the Teton Theater for keepin' it vintage... Chad couldn't do it without you!

Berman and I hit the road first thing for Park City tonight, then for Salt Lake at the Rail Event Center on Saturday. Go to Ski 'N See in Sandy on Saturday from 3pm-5pm to become best friends with Cody Townsend and Bobby Brown! Matti Brown and Ronald wrapped her in Boise last night and rock Missoula tonight and Bozeman on Saturday. Come on now...no other places to be! See you there... yeah you!
