Bio
Q: Favorite childhood memory?
A: Possibly the first time my father stopped by school and picked me up to go the hill, Norquay for a powder day and the opening of the Big Chair. Pretty awesome!
Q: Worst injury?
A: Currently dealing with a partially torn ACL, not much fun at all.
Q: How many GNAR points did you accrue last winter?
A: Not that many, always in the backcountry so not that many people could see how rad I was being.
Q: Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather… who would win?
A: I have no idea who you are talking about.
Q: Who’s your favorite cinematographer to work with on the MSP crew?
A: Uncle Duster! I’ve been skiing/traveling/working with him since I was 18.
Q: Favorite possession you own that cost less than $5?
A: The cane Shane Treat cut down for me when I hurt my knee on the last trip of the season, we were camping so he searched the forest until he found an alder tree in the shape of a cane. I put a rubber cane end on it when I got back to civilization, I think it cost $4ish…
Q: What’s the number one goal you want to achieve during your career as a pro skier?
A: I want to continue to utilize my passion for skiing to maintain a lifestyle/career that enables me to ski as much as possible all over the world.
Q: What is your favorite album of all time?
A: Possibly “If the 60’s were the 90’s” Jimi Hendrix remixes by the Beautiful People.
Q: A farmer had 17 sheep. All but 8 have died. How many sheep are still standing?
A: 8
Q: “If I was a pro athlete in any other sport, it would probably be…”
A: Possibly a climber? It’s hard to say though, I have not focused on any sport the way I have on skiing…
Q: “The best day I ever spent on skis…”
A: Opening day of Revelstoke Mountain Resort the first year of operation comes to mind. The terrain was new to everyone, no one knew where to go, it was a total free for all, reminded me of skiing when I was a kid, totally awesome!
Q: “I’m a better skier than ________________________ because…”
A: Heimer, ‘cause he’s from Trail!
Q: “The last movie I watched was…”
A: the Man who Skied Everest, full Gnar points!!!
Q: What is your greatest accomplishment outside of skiing?
A: I have a couple stone masonry projects that I have done over the years that I am pretty proud of.
Q: “__________________ is my favorite resort to ski in-bounds.”
A: Blackcomb
Q: Who is the best skier the rest of the world has never heard of?
A: That’s a tough one, I have met quite a few shred ninjas all over the world that rip hard every single chance they get.
Q: “I don’t normally throw a shout-out to this person, but this one goes out to…”
A: My little Brother Stevie, he is the man, everyone who know both of us will agree,
