What was your favorite day of skiing last season?
I could never narrow it down to just one. As soon as I think of one mint day I remember a dozen others, I swear I am the luckiest man alive!
What was the coolest place you were able to ski this last season? Trip highlights?
This season was awesome… I didn't leave western Canada once. I love the motherland!
What was the most substantial thing you learned this last season?
After struggling all early season on my old 670cc sled I finally bucked up at the end of January, went into debt, and purchased a brand new SkiDoo Rev 800. Learning how to sled the last couple years has been a lot of work and super challenging. My new sled pretty much changed my life – I learned that snowmobiling can be as much fun (if not more) than skiing on certain days.
Who do you enjoy skiing with, and why?
One of my favorite things about skiing is the awesome groups of friends you meet all over and get to shred with. There are way too many to name, but is seems every where you go to ski you meet good people who are in the mountains for the same reason as yourself – skiing.
What song could be a soundtrack to your life? Or maybe even just a song you enjoy skiing to?
I would have to say this winter's theme song was definitely Neil Young's “Down By The River.” It just seemed to fit the mood of the crew, every time we were having a good time someone would turn it up. Neil shreds the guitar!
What is your favorite non-skiing activity? Explain why…
This summer I've been learning to skate the mini ramp. I am super stoked on skating because it is new for me and it is so technical and difficult to learn… every time I go, I end up wanting to learn more and more.
